Alexandre Ottoveggio is a passionate filmmaker, actor, and stunt performer with years of experience in the film industry. He’s worked on big international productions as well as smaller independent films, always bringing dedication, creativity, and a love for storytelling.
Early in his career, Alexandre worked as a stunt performer on the Hollywood blockbuster Inception, starring Leonardo DiCaprio. He was also the stunt double for Jean Dujardin in the French film Un balcon sur la mer, and worked alongside Gérard Lanvin on the thriller Secret Défense. One of his major early experiences was working on Ridley Scott’s Black Hawk Down, where he collaborated with the award-winning special effects supervisor Neil Corbould on second unit action scenes.
Outside of stunt work, Alexandre has also worked behind the scenes. He was the casting director for the feature film Furia by director Alexandre Aja, and took part in the production of the TV series Shaka Zulu, which starred Oliver Reed and Grace Jones.
Alexandre’s journey in the arts has also led him to cross paths with legendary musicians. Over the years, he had the chance to meet Miles Davis in Toulouse back in 1989, Mark Knopfler in New York in 2015, and most recently Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin in Marrakech.
Today, Alexandre continues to explore film from all angles — acting, writing, directing, and producing. Whether he’s working on a short scene or a full feature, he brings a raw, honest approach to everything he does, always driven by the desire to tell real, meaningful stories.
