• Alexandre Ottoveggio has earned recognition across numerous international indie film festivals. His short film Until Dawn received acclaim for its original script and storytelling, while When It’s Not Your Time and Fury Man were honored for their direction and overall cinematic vision. Several of his other works — including Alien Activity, Another Day on Earth, Bad Bones, and Paradise River — have also been selected and nominated at festivals in Europe and the United States. Together, these achievements highlight his strength as both a filmmaker and storyteller, bringing originality, emotion, and bold imagery to independent cinema.

• Alexandre Ottoveggio didn’t go through film school — he learned filmmaking directly on set. At just 17, he stepped into the world of cinema and quickly discovered that the best education came from being there, in the middle of the action. He worked on many international productions, taking on whatever roles were available: helping with casting, translating, setting up equipment, working as a gaffer, or even stepping in as an extra. Each job, no matter how small, taught him something new. Over time, these experiences gave him a deep, practical understanding of how films are made and built the foundation for his own path as a filmmaker.
