Acting
Alexandre Ottoveggio is an actor of Corsican and Sicilian origin who has built his career by taking on many different roles in Europe, the United States, and Morocco. He speaks Italian, French, English, and some Arabic, and he loves playing characters that push him to give his best. Whenever possible, he also performs his own stunts.
One of his first important roles was in Morocco in Larbi or the Fate of a Great Football Player, where he played the famous boxer Marcel Cerdan. His performance showed his ability to fully transform himself and helped him gain early recognition.
He later appeared in Road to Kabul, also filmed in Morocco, where he played an American military officer. After that, he took on a leading role in Europe in Last Mile to Paradise, playing a fugitive running across the continent. The film was nominated for Best Film, and Alexandre received a nomination for Best Actor. In the United States, he played a French journalist in A Crack in Everything, investigating fracking in Pennsylvania. He then continued with When It’s Not Your Time, where he played a husband being hunted by a hitman.
Alexandre has also taken on several historical and military roles in European productions. He portrayed a Roman general in the National Geographic film Jesus: Rise to Power. In the German film Ceasefire, he played a U.S. Marine, and in the American film Deserter, he played a French soldier facing the realities of war. On television, he delivered one of his most intense performances in the series Now and Forever, playing a serial killer. It was a difficult and demanding role, but he approached it with seriousness and depth.
Across Europe, the USA, and Morocco, Alexandre has brought many different characters to life—fighters, soldiers, fugitives, journalists, and troubled men fighting their own battles. What stays constant is his dedication, his passion, and his ability to bring truth to every role.
Alexandre Ottoveggio continues to grow as an actor, always searching for new challenges and new stories to tell.
